Some of us have obstacles we have to overcome daily to do what we do in life.

Making excuses doesn’t work.   Would you rather gain sympathy, or be loved and admired because you don’t let anything hold you back?

Developing a tiger attitude is what it takes.  That doesn’t mean being aggressive and hurtful to others. It means recognizing your own shortcomings, and doing whatever it takes to compensate for them.

In this article I explicate a song Johnny Cash sings called “A Boy Named Sue.”   The song tells a story about overcoming an obstacle.  How would you fare in life if you are a man and your dad named you Sue?  I think you would get a lot of ridicule from others.  But that ridicule doesn’t have to have a negative effect on you.
